What We’re Really Building at Resolution Tactics—and Why It Matters

When people walk into our facility for the first time, the reaction is usually the same:
“Oh, wow!”
Yes, the simulator is impressive — 300-degree immersive screens, realistic scenarios, and the ability to step into situations instead of just talking about them.
The technology gets the attention, but it isn't the most important thing we built.
What we really built is an environment.
When Scott and I started Resolution Tactics, our goal wasn’t just to offer classes or create a cool space. We wanted to build a place where people could train seriously without feeling intimidated.
Those two things can absolutely exist together.
This kind of training matters. Whether you want to feel more confident making decisions under pressure, or you serve in a professional role where ongoing practice is essential, the work we do here is important.
But serious and professional don’t have to mean intimidating.

Skill develops through repetition, clear instruction, and attention to the basics. Confidence grows when you understand what you’re doing — and why.
That’s why our classes are intentionally interactive. We don’t just lecture. We step into scenarios. We slow things down. We focus on fundamentals — grip, stance, sight alignment, and safe presentation — because those details matter.
Traditional ranges play an important role in helping people practice marksmanship. Our simulator environment complements that by allowing participants to safely work through decision-making scenarios and skills like drawing from concealment in a controlled setting.
And when those pieces come together, you can see confidence shift in real time — like a light turning on in how someone thinks, plans, and processes what it takes to protect themselves or others.

I’m especially passionate about helping women feel comfortable in this space. Too often, training environments feel overwhelming before someone even gets started. That shouldn’t be the case. Skill development should feel empowering.
We also recognize that performing well under pressure isn’t just tactical — it’s physiological.
That’s part of why I’ll also be offering Mobility & Stress Management sessions here. Gentle yoga and guided breathing might seem like an unexpected fit alongside a simulator, but the ability to regulate your nervous system is directly connected to clear decision-making.
Training is about more than reacting.
It’s about thinking clearly when it matters.
For agencies and professional teams, our facility offers a flexible space for immersive scenario training and collaboration. For civilians, it offers hands-on instruction in a controlled environment designed to build real skill.
For all of us, it offers the same thing:
Preparation. Clarity. Confidence.
We take the work seriously.
So we built a space that’s sharp and professional — but also welcoming. There’s room to sit down, ask questions, slow things down, and yes, there’s good coffee.
Because real growth usually happens when people feel comfortable enough to engage.
If you’re curious what training here actually feels like, we’d love to welcome you in.
